Once voting has closed, the team moves onto the Vote Count — a careful verification process to ensure the final results are accurate and fair.
The Vote Count
A quick overview of how we verify and confirm the final totals.
Step 1 — Count & Verify
Every vote is processed through the same checks before any totals are confirmed.
- ✓All votes are counted
- ✓Any duplicate votes are removed
- ✓IP address checks against every vote
- ✓Votes are counted again
Step 2 — Independent Recount
Once a final vote tally is completed, the raw data is passed to another member of the team to carry out the same process independently.
If the totals don’t match, the process starts all over again.
Finalists & Keepsakes
All finalists who have provided a postal address are contacted with information about the finale, and also receive their nominee keepsakes.
Awards Made to Order
All of our Awards are made to order specifically for each individual winner. Where there are multiple winners in a category, an Award is made for each person.
